Add this new trackball control panel to any of our 19″ Mulicade 60n1 upright arcade games. This allows you to play Centipede, Millipede, Arkanoid and Super Breakout correctly.

LED Facts:

• LEDs look way better, are brighter and flash faster – which is visually more stimulating.  Using these radically modernizes a pinball machine.  You’ll never play a regular pinball machine again once you see the before and after differences.  They are that dramatic!
• LEDs conserve power – which means they are better on your machine.  Even if you do not care about power savings ($$), the mere fact that using LEDs on your machine will preserve the life of the power supply, logic boards and wiring harnesses.
• LEDs do not emit heat.  This is also a major factor in pinball preservation.  Standard incandescent bulbs get so hot they actually will melt the plastic housings and put burn marks on the wood playfield.

What About Older Pinball Machines?

We will convert ANY pinball machine to LEDs.  Many machines were not wired correctly for the use of LEDs (either polarity issues or circuit issues).  We know how to correct that!

System 11 Flashers:  We also know how to properly convert Williams SYSTEM 11 based pinball machines to use LED flashers!  Don’t worry, these conversions are designed by a veteran Software and Electrical Engineer – so you know they will be done right.   You’ll note that all other companies selling LED kits will NOT include flashers for anything previous to the DMD era machines.

Ok, so you’ve upgraded your machine to LEDs, and it’s awesome.  Now you want more, right?  Well, we’re right with you!

You can now have additional lighting effects under your machine for a fully immersive experience!  These full length LED strips are added strategically under the pinball machine (mounted to the bottom) and wired into the flash circuitry.    So when you hit just the right combination, loop or special shot, the whole room lights up along with the playfield.  Every machine is different and only video can even come close to explaining the effect.

We can color match RED, BLUE, GREEN, WHITE, YELLOW and PURPLE effects in all combinations!

Note: this is not the same kit you see on other pinball sites.  This is not background lighting – but is flash effect lighting.  We of course can do static background lighting for the same cost as it is way easier to install.

Stern pinball machines are great, however they did cut a couple of corners to save money.  Thankfully a large cost saver was in eliminating the backbox lighting.  The backbox insert (which housed many incandescent bulbs and flashers) was replaced by a single fluorescent tube lamp.   The result is that the backbox artwork does not have any animation and that the lighting is way overpowered.

With our kit, we replace the single tube lamp with multiple full length strips of LED lighting.   We also select a portion of the backglass where you can customize the color and select different color changing effects.

Price includes installation – at our facility and is not available as an over-the-counter item.  On-site installation is available at the hourly rate in the local delivery area.

Only a handful of arcade games ever produced were ever properly equipped for the use of a subwoofer.  If you could listen and feel the difference, you would undoubtedly wonder why they ever left the factory without one.

Games such as Golden Tee and NFL Blitz just come to life when equipped with this upgrade.

Upgrade includes

• 80W subwoofer
• wired remote for volume, bass level and overall speaker level (which controls the main 2 stereo speakers)
• JAMMA audio level converter
• Mounting and wiring.   Subwoofer is permanently attached inside the cabinet so that you can lay down and move the machine without worry

Add this package to any machine from our inventory, except the MultiPAC where it is already included.

Periodically, we have some time and do full restorations on Wells Gardner k7500 medium resolution arcade chassis that we do not need for our own projects.

This chassis is typically used in games such as Golden Tee Fore, Golden Tee Complete, San Francisco Rush (all models), Midway Cruisin, Silver Strike Bowling (non-flat tube models), Midway Gauntlet Legacy/Dark Legends, NFL Blitz (97,99, 2000 Gold, and Blitz 2000 / NBA  Showtime Combo), Atari War.  Some of these machines may have initially been outfitted with Wells Gardner u5000 or Neotec 2501/2701 monitors, but were swapped out with the newer Wells Gardner k7500 during their lifetime.

Monitor chassis and neck board will be fully restored and in excellent physical and working condition.

Note: This chassis can ONLY be used to replace a Wells Gardner k7500.  Attempting to put this on another Wells Gardner tube will likely blow components on the boards.

Note: this requires a medium level of confidence and skill in working with electronics and high voltage circuits.  If you do not know how to remove a monitor or chassis from a monitor, this is probably not for you as you will likely damage the circuit board incorrectly wiring it up, or worse yet, hurt yourself.

Let us know if this is to be used in a 27″ monitor as it requires an additional pin cushion circuit board.

For Wells Gardner 25″ and 27″ chassis: U2000, U5000, k7400 and k7500 only

This P719 arcade monitor neck board has been out of production for many years and is one of the first items that need to be replaced on these monitors. This neck board houses the color transistors, video IC and associated logic to control the Red/Green/Blue guns and heater circuit.

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, your neck board needs replacement:

* missing primary color (red, blue or green)
* adjusting contrast up smears the image
* cannot get enough contrast, but the contrast adjustment POT is showing some change on the screen
* In some cases, replacing the neck board may fix white screen with no image problem

If you are unsure, you may send your entire Wells Gardner monitor chassis to Castle Classic Arcade for repair (or trade in if in repairable condition). See our services section for arcade chassis repair…
